WORSHIP AND PRAISE
The Park Avenue church exists for a variety of reasons. First, we exist to provide a place for worship and praise. It is through worship that we realign ourselves with God. We believe that worship allows us to look beyond ourselves and understand the wonder and majesty of God. The family church seeks to elevate God through worship and praise.
ENCOURAGEMENT
Second, we exist in order to encourage one another. Christian faith is lived out in relationships with fellow believers. Our Sunday school classes, Wednesday evening classes, and small group meetings provide support and strength in meeting the challenges of daily life. The family church seeks to form a network of relationships whereby we can support and be supported.
FAMILY SUPPORT
Third, the Park Avenue church exists to strengthen families. Families, the building blocks of our society, are being bombarded daily with many challenges. Each one has the potential to deteriorate the love and unity of the family. The family church seeks to help relieve some of those challenges and to assist in meeting others head on.
HELP!
Finally, we exist because we are concerned about people. All of our efforts mean little unless people are helped in the process. We believe that nothing is more important than living for God. The family church does not have all the answers, but we believe that God does.
