Antares is the 15th brightest star in the night’s sky. It is more than 100 light years away. Below is a close-up view from the Hubble Telescope deep field infrared camera. This view is billions of light years away.
Despite their limited knowledge of astronomy, the Israelites were awed by the fact that God created the constellations.
“He is the Maker of the Bear and Orion, the Pleiades and the constellations of the south.” (Job 9:9)
