2 Corinthians 5-9
December 5, 2015
Death brings us to a new life. This body cannot inherit eternal life. God will provide a new body for us. We will not be disembodied spirits after death. But this body serves to remind us that we are not fully and completely with God. This body also serves to remind us that we live with a different perspective. Since we know that a new body is waiting for us, we live a new life. We live confidently knowing that the unseen matters. Our desire is to please God. We no longer live for ourselves but because of Jesus who died for us, we now live for Him. We also see others in light of this truth. We see others as God sees them. We no longer see what people can do for us but we look at others with a view of what God through Christ has done for them. We have a new life waiting. We live with a new perspective and we see others in a new way. God has radically changed us. Praise Him!
