On April 17 fifty-one ladies came together for fellowship and study. Becky Kelly of Montgomery, Alabama, was the guest speaking. She spoke on “Affecting Change in Our Community.” Ladies’ Day in the Spring and Ladies’ Retreat in the Fall are the two main events for the ladies of the Park Avenue congregation. These are always great [...] [...] On February 13 (Saturday) from 10 a.m. to noon, the ladies of the congregation were invited to a brunch given by the elders. This was a time for the elders to share some information with the ladies, to affirm their importance to the church family at Park Avenue, and to gain information from them. [Show as [...] [...] Several ladies from the Park Avenue church as well as some from Sea Isle Elementary came together Tuesday evening, December 1, to wrap presents for the school Holiday Sale. Each year the school has a holiday store for the students so they can buy small, inexpensive gifts for their friends and family.
