The youth chaperoned by Ron and Raye left Saturday morning, July 24, heading for Atlanta and then Wetoga Camp Sunday. After orientation Sunday the campers arrive Monday. The youth worked with the Memphis Urban Ministries summer Power Hour. Here are some pictures of today’s event. [Show as slideshow] [...] This morning (Thursday, June 24) four youth and three chaperones left for Colorado. They headed out I-40 to Amarillo TX to overnight. A local congregation will host them for the night. Then Friday they head on to Colorado to begin preparation for the trek. After worship Sunday they will load up and begin their journey. They will be collecting donations to help feed starving children throughout the world. They will also be fasting for 30 hours just to see what it is like to be really be Hungry.
