What a great day at Bella Vista! The weather was wonderful and there were probably 200+ residents that came to join us for some fun.

The Park Avenue church helped Agape with the kick off for NOVA – Network for Overcoming Violence and Abuse. It was held at the old Hickory Ridge Mall indoors. Over 80 guests enjoyed games and refreshments.
Park hosted several of the faculty and staff from Sea Isle Elementary at a special worship and luncheon on Sunday, September 16th. Approximately 17 guests joined us for this worship and luncheon. It was a day to celebrate the relationship we have had with Sea Isle for 20 years and to thank them for their commitment to training and educating the children of Memphis.
On July 5 the kindergarten through sixth grade youth went peach picking at a local orchard. The outing was coordinated by their Bible class teachers. After picking the peaches, they hand delivered them to several elderly in the congregation. They returned to the church building for lunch together.
On Sunday, June 10, following lunch together with friends and family, eleven campers headed for the Mid-South Youth Camp near Henderson, Tennessee. Scott Chrisman drove the van and settled everyone in at camp. Camp runs through June 15.
Young ladies in kindergarten to sixth grade invited the senior adult ladies to a brunch on Saturday, June 2, at 10 a.m. A wonderful time was enjoyed by all. Here are some pictures of the event.
Thanks to so many we once again had a wonderful Family Festival with over 150 attending. We had fair weather and warm temps which made for a hot day, but it was very enjoyable for all who came. May 19, 2012.
Saturday, March 31, the ladies of the Park Avenue congregation came together for a time of fellowship.
