“What the world needs now, is love sweet love” —Bert Bacharach

Jesus said — “don’t forget to love one another”

Taking a meal, reclining with disciples.
Knows he must meet those who will kill him. Wants to express love and washes their feet. The discipline Les are very uncomfortable with this.
Doing this with Judas who has already decided to betray Jesus. Jesus is agitated, nervous, filled with dread. He announces that someone will betray Him.
Jesus tells them that it is the one he gives bread to, they still don’t get that it is Judas. He gives them one command “love one another”.
Peter says he won’t betray him Jesus tells her m he will deny him 3 times. “As I have done , so must you do to one another”

When are in most need of love?
•It is when you have messed up.
•When you have hurt feelings.
•When you’re struggling.

13:3 he had come from God and is returning to God, SO, he had nothing to prove. We have nothing to prove except that we belong to God. This life is not about me, it’s about God.
It’s about revealing the glory of God.

We are called to Love way God loves.
“How can I show God? “ should be our motto.
At the end able those who sat in the honor seat those next to him, on His right, would also receive a co-honor. Judas was sitting in the seat of honor. That shows Jesus’ love be for Judas.
Love the one
•Messes up
•Been in the place where we don’t deserve love
“Love one another even as I have loved you” - Jesus

“I love you and Jesus loves you too”
“Te amo y Jesús también te ama”

Dana- we all need to say: “If God can love me, I can love you”
