Doubting Thomas
Signs point to the truth of something ice storm.
The instrument panel pops up in his car probably stated that ice was possible. Driver ignored many warnings signs.
Importance of signs
Directional signs- point to destination
Thomas gets a bad wrap. Only story that gets brought up when discussing Thomas the apostle. Thomas was a man of bold faith unto death, he would follow him to death.
He was not with the apostles when Jesus had returned
Thomas is an unbeliever unless he can put his finger into Jesus’ wounds
Not a good story or high point for Thomas
Is Jesus’ story one we can trust and believe?
Are we going to be like Thomas or are we going to believe the witnesses/ apostles, they had written the story of Jesus near the end of their life so that succeeding generations could know truth about Jesus
The Bible is the sign of the son of God who became flesh, left heaven, you may have life in His name
