Support for the Tohoku-Kanto Great Earthquake Disaster Victims – Request for Support
We praise His precious name.
There are many who have already contributed to the Japan Red Cross and other agencies. As members of the churches of Christ we are targeting those churches and related people north of Ibaraki and want to extend a hand of love to them.
At this time, we would like to do something for those seriously affected. As God’s household and brothers/sisters-in-Christ through this effort it is our desire to comfort and encourage our brothers/sisters who have suffered this great disaster and are hurting and suffering.
1) First we are asking for donations to help the victims.
2) After this with a bit of progress we will investigate the needs of all churches and would like to do the following:
a) Deliver needed materials
b) Dispatch volunteers (put in baths/showers, portable toilets, repair to buildings, clean up work)
c) Mental care for the psychological stress of the disaster (condolences, interviews, prayers, encouragement from Scriptures)
If you know of anyone who is suffering in this disaster or needs support, please inform us.

東北関東大震災被災者への支援について――募金の御願い
尊い御名を賛美いたします。
上記の募金活動に関して、既に、日赤や諸団体の共同募金に送金された方もおられますが、私どもは、キリストの教会に連なる者として、対象を茨城以北「キリストの諸教会とその関係者」に絞り、愛の手を差し伸べたいと思います。
この時期、何かと厳しい状況におかれておられますが、「神の家族・主に在る兄弟姉妹」として、この活動により、大きな災害に遭って痛み苦しむ兄弟姉妹たちを慰め励ましたいと願っております。
① まず、第一段は、緊急支援として、被災者に対し義捐金を送ります。
② その後、少し経過を見てから、各教会のニーズ（必要）を調査し、下記のような活動を実践して行きたいと思います。
記 （第二段支援活動）
ａ，必要な物資などの送達
ｂ，奉仕活動者、ボランティアの派遣（お風呂や仮設トイレの設置をはじめ、建物修理、清掃等の諸活動）
ｃ，精神的被災者に対するメンタルケア（慰問、面接、祈りと御言葉による励まし）
被災で苦しんでおられる方や支援を必要とする方を御存知でしたら、当方へお知らせください。
