Well, it has been way too long, sorry!
LST has come and gone. We have new faces in our life now. Please pray for effective follow-up.
Permanent Visa: We applied for our permanent resident visa. Should hear in 3 to 6 months.
Trip: Oh, yeah, we went to the USA to be with Rachel’s family in the early days for the birth of our third grandchild, the brilliant and beautiful Willow. Mother and baby did fine. Willow was born on May 26 or so she is pushing two months now. Also enjoyed visits with Eddie in LR and some Cloverdale folks, as well as a reunion in DeRidder.
Did I ever tell you that my great-grandfather, Ben Elston, baptized George Benson, missionary to China and Harding University president? Then my brother married GB’s grand-daughter? Oh, I did?
Searcy House: We appreciate so much the care and sweat and headaches Marcy and Gerald Cox have put into managing Sandy’s house in Searcy over the past 11 years. We need to find a new manager as G and M seek other ministry opportunities. We were excited to hear that our Harding peeps speak very highly of at least two of the guys living there now.
