Mark 11 and John 12

Praise.
The people line the dusty road as Jesus enters Jerusalem.  They praise God calling Jesus their king.  Raising Lazarus from the dead had catapulted many in their faith.  There was a fervor about Jesus.  The religious leaders fumed and the people praised.    As Jesus enters the city, the people have it right.  God is to be praised and Jesus is coming in the name of the Lord.  For this moment the people are enthralled.  Praise comes from a recognition that someone or something is greater.  It comes from an appreciation and a sense of awe.  Praise and worship go together.  Find ways today to praise God.  Let’s lift up our eyes and see the glory of God surrounding us.  Worship him.  Let’s get it right.
