In two short letters, Paul writes about his love and support of these new believers. Paul was concerned that his suffering and the confrontation from others in the city may have had a negative impact on their faith and their relationship. He was thrilled and excited to hear that their faith was intact and that their relationship was strong. We want to form strong relationships with our co-workers and friends. We want those relationships to be opportunities to encourage faith. Helping someone to know Jesus and to grow in faith is a blessing. Don’t be afraid. We speak so that God is seen and so that others may know the wonderful relationship we have with Him.
