Acts 17-18:18

Paul wasn’t in Thessalonica long. With all the problems and confrontation, Paul was forced to leave the city. He cared deeply about what happened to these new converts. He wrote two letters to them to help crystalize some of his teaching and to clarify some matters that were left unexplained. The beauty of Paul’s work is that in a short time the gospel message had a powerful impact. The word of God is powerful. Our words can have a powerful impact. Do not underestimate the power of a small deed or kind word. When the opportunity presents itself, allow that brief encounter to have a greater impact. Speak for Jesus. Give Him the glory. Share about your faith. Be bold and courageous. A brief encounter can have eternal consequences.
