親しくしている梨屋さんの富沢さんが、愛宕梨100個をくださるというので、さっそく、南三陸の名足小学校にプレゼント。東北道は雪と強風で思わぬ時間がかかってしまい、着いたときは、ほとんどの子どもたちは帰った後だったが、それでも遊んでいた子どもたちを校長先生が呼び集め、みんなに見せた。「これカボチャ？」という子もいて、みんな大はしゃぎ。全校の児童が６３名だから、一人に１個づつあげられる。いつも先生たちは遠慮しているが、今度は大丈夫。先生方にも１個づつ。子どもたちは、もう私の顔を覚えていてくれて、サンキュー！　一人づつ、握手をして、バイ、バーイ！　津波で破壊された校舎も、昨年の秋には復旧し、やっとわが校舎にもどってこられて、子どもたちは生気をとりもどしたよう！ Close friends of mine, Mr. & Mrs. Tomizawa, raise nashi (Asian pears). 教会の君江さんが畑で採れたねぎと大根を東北に持って行ってあげてとおっしゃるので、２６日に七ヶ浜、東松島に行ってきました。お正月を控えて、よい贈り物になりました。昨年もこのご夫婦は同じプレゼントをしています。大根は「おふくろ大根」という種類で、長さは７０ｃｍ、直径は太いところで２０ｃｍ。煮ていただくと最高です。日帰りでしたが、往復、わずか８００ｋｍのところなので、みなさんとじっくりと話し込んできました。病気で入院なさっていた方も退院され、ホッとしました。また、来年、お会いしましょうとお約束！ Kimie-san from our church gathered some scallions and daikon radish and asked if we could carry those to the northeast. 東日本大震災の被災者で援助の手が届いていない方々がまだ、まだ！　先月、初めて出会った方々は、いわゆる見做し仮設におられる方々。またしても、この方々には支援はほとんど来ないということで驚き。教会にバザーで買ったものだが、食器類があるとお話ししましたら、お使いいただけるということで、今日、車に満載でお届けしてきました。新品ですが箱などは汚れていて、申し訳ないほどのものでしたが、喜んでくださって恐縮でした。写真はその一部です。朝、５時にでて南三陸　２か所、石巻　１か所を回り、往復、９１６ｋｍ、夕9時半に無事に帰って来られて感謝！ Assistance still has not reached many of the victims of the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake. ６日、恒例となった石巻クリスマス訪問、今年も手作りの松傘を使ったツリー、お菓子、手作りの布製ティッシュ・ペーパー入れ、そして聖書のことなが書かれたカード。参加者の日程の都合で日帰りになりましたが、二人の女性が運転を代わってくれ、大助かり。 予報に反し、温かい天気で助かりました。終わってから皆さんがお茶に呼んで下さり、またまた、楽しい時間でした。また、来年！　約束しました。 私たちを考えますと、本当にこれは神様と捧げて下さった教会内外の大勢の方々のおかげです。 On December 6 as has been our custom, seven members gathered to make our Ishinomaki Christmas visit. 榛名野草の会の方々の行動力はすごい。お花の縁で会長さんご夫妻と知り合いになりました。訪問はこれで３回目、会の趣旨を離れても、大切なことだから継続するとおっしゃる。参加者は費用分担するが、バスの貸切が高いので、不足分は会の会計から出してくださっている。今回の材料費、お土産はすべて会員の方々の畑などから持ってきてくださったもの。日曜の午後に反省会があり、私も招かれましたが、これからも、彼らに寄り添っていきたいと皆さんの声、声、声。 The energy of the Haruna Wild Flower Society is amazing. 名足小入校式、１１月８日は感激で涙いっぱいの日でした。復旧なった懐かしの校舎に２年８か月ぶりに帰ってきました。町の方々は子どもたちをとっても大切にしています。こどもたちも元気に立ち上がっています。防災対策も考えられることは全部、やりました。神様、喜びの声をこの町から全国へと広げて下さい。 On November 8 a very emotional and tearful entrance ceremony for the Natari Elementary School was held.
